“Even before starting my studies I wanted to have my own label,” Natália says, delighted by her win. “And now, thanks to the LYCRA® brand and the support I will get from INVISTA, I will be able to achieve this dream.”

The judges of the LYCRA® Future Designer’s Award were looking for fresh ideas and creativity, combined with awareness of brand development and consumer targeting needs. Participants submitted designs that could be manufactured using fabrics with LYCRA® fiber along with mood borads and supporting documentation. INVISTA will now be supporting the young Brazilian design graduate as she develops her collection and own brand.
More than 2,000 participants from 50 countries took part in the prestigious event organized by WGSN, a trend and market intelligence advisor to leading apparel manufacturers and brands. The LYCRA® Future Designers 2015 shortlist included contenders from America, Asia and Europe.
