Third-Party Certifications

STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®

The STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is a world-renowned and trusted certification. LYCRA® fiber products for apparel made at all of our manufacturing sites around the world have achieved STANDARD 100, Class 1, Appendix 6 certification. In addition, LYCRA® T400®, COOLMAX® and THERMOLITE® technologies have also been certified. This means the fibers have been checked against a list of over 350 harmful substances and successfully tested for safety in human ecological terms. Global Recycled Standard

Our EcoMade family of recycled polyester products is GRS certified. The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is a voluntary product standard for tracking and verifying the content of recycled materials in a final product. The standard applies to the full supply chain and addresses traceability, environmental principles, social requirements, labeling, and chemicals used in the processing of GRS products. To help you and your customers make informed decisions, GRS provides assurance that materials in the final product are recycled and processed more sustainably. Contact us for more information and the verification tool to support your order and shipment. For a complete listing of the fibers which have been certified to the GRS, please consult the GRS Scope certificate.

Gold Level Material Health Certification

A Material Health Certificate is granted to products that meet the Material Health requirements of the multi-attribute Cradle to Cradle Certified Product Standard. The certificate is valid for two years and helps manufacturers verify their progress towards chemically optimized products by:

  • Increasing transparency around the chemicals used in their products and supply chains
  • Avoiding chemicals of concern and shifting to safer chemicals
  • Committing to continuously greener chemistry

Currently, 25 LYCRA® fiber products have earned Material Health Certificates at the Gold Level.
