Following a Visionary “Co-Create the Future Today” theme, the pavilion hosts a record number of co-exhibitors

The show is the Asia-Pacific (APAC) launch pad for LYCRA® ADAPTIV fiber, the Keep In the Loop with LYCRA” global circularity initiative promoting sustainability, and the LYCRA ONE™ online customer portal which connects the value chain. There is also an update on LYCRA® FitSense™ technology.

Announcing LYCRA® ADAPTIV Fiber

To meet the growing consumer need for simpler and more inclusive sizing, enhanced garment comfort and greater functionality, The LYCRA Company is introducing LYCRA® ADAPTIV fiber at Intertextile Shanghai. This unique, patent-pending fiber provides a fantastic wearing experience for all types of body shapes, by both cut & sewn and seamless garments. LYCRA® ADAPTIV fiber fits like a second skin and moves with the wearer to maximize comfort and makes garments easier to put on and take off.


Upgrade your stretch denim

When LYCRA® ADAPTIV fiber is used in conjunction with patented LYCRA® dualFX® technology, the result is ultra-stretch denim jeans with alpha-sizing. This widens the fit window to accommodate a broader range of body shapes within a size, which makes a “one-size-fits-more” approach a practical possibility for denim. This innovation also has the potential to increase consumer satisfaction and brand loyalty while reducing costly returns.


See LYCRA® FitSense™ technology garments

The LYCRA Company will update show visitors about its revolutionary LYCRA® FitSense™ technology, which transforms garments by adding lightweight, targeted support exactly where it is needed. The potential of LYCRA® FitSense™ technology in garment engineering and design is now being realized by top APAC vendors, including Regina Miracle International, Shanghai Press Garment and Alibaba Xunxi Digital Technology. They are exhibiting their latest garment developments designed specifically to appeal to Chinese consumers looking for style, shaping and comfort in their intimates, activewear and athleisure apparel.


Keep in the Loop with LYCRA

Another highlight at Intertextile Shanghai is the APAC launch of a new sustainability campaign aimed at advancing circularity in the textile and apparel industry. Entitled “Keep in the Loop with LYCRA,” the initiative is an invitation for customers and industry experts to join The LYCRA Company in using resilient, sustainable materials that ultimately can be recycled at end of life, thus reducing textile waste and “closing the loop” in the value chain.


Introducing the LYCRA ONE™ portal

The LYCRA Company is demonstrating its new customer portal, LYCRA ONE™, which is designed to connect a global network of garment makers, brands, retailers, and mills. The “Online Network Exchange” enables site visitors to explore the company’s fiber and technology solutions, as well as discover trends and insights, so they expand their network, streamline the way they work, and grow their business.


Don’t miss Intertextile Shanghai

The LYCRA Company has almost doubled the size of its Intertextile Shanghai pavilion this year, which includes 22 co-exhibitors displaying fabrics and garments made with its products. The exhibits demonstrate how stakeholders across the entire apparel industry value chain can “Co-create the future today,” which is the theme of booth 1.1 – E51 located in Hall 1.1.
